Great job and looking great, thanks for saving me from all that work! How did you get on with the exhaust studs? Cheers. Rob

I cheated with the exhaust studs, I changed the head over for one I had on an engine I picked up. It was an H head but I swapped it over , changed a few parts etc etc and seems to be ok.

I may tackle the exhaust studs once I have a bit more time.

Haha! Yeah I've saved you a bit of work, that's one you owe me, :pmsl

I've been so flat out at work I've not been able to do much this week.
Need to pick up an adaptor to fit my can onto a slip on stainless pipe.

Oh! And I'm waiting on exhaust studs coming from holland. Apart from that it's all good!

Nice having a spares back up, wondering why the exhaust studs are coming from Holland, did you try Cradleys, they offer discounts as well for forum members. What are you planning with the bodywork?
Cheers
Rob

Cradleys only had 1, the rest are coming from CMSNL .
I have collated almost enough spares to build another bike!
I may actually see if I can make that happen once ive finished with this one! :pmsl
Could be interesting!

The plan for the body work is just to paint it or get it painted? I'm tempted to do it myself or I may in the end just get someone else to do it.
Was thinking of getting the same paint scheme , just re done , but then I had a trip to Classic bike live in Peterborough at the end of October, that got me thinking of a colour scheme along the lines of Mick Grants late 70's KR 750 pretty much just green and white if anyone has a pic the could post??
