As you can see i have installed a mini chat shoutbox, let me have your views on this. I will look at moving the chat box so it doesn't sit on top of the forums.

please remember it is a public chat box and can be seen by everyone so watch what you post.

Annoying. Noone seems to want to bother with it anyway, being that we natter on the forum comfortably enough, and speaking personally, it's irking me greatly, because even with the login screen set as my bookmark for the forum, it does not bypass the mini-chat app overlaying the forum.

So, in summary, without it overlaying the forum, better, but in my view it's pretty superfluous irrespective.

it seems to be used more than i expected? but i don't want people to use it instead of the forum, i will look at moving it from the index page if more people agree it should be moved?

decided to move the chat from the main page (in prosilver), too many people using it as a search and not using the forum to its full potential methinks.

Glad to see it gone personally. Makes the page look cluttered and as you rightly say its being used as a search function.

duno if its just me but the 'view new posts' button just comes up 'page not found now' and the 'unanswered and active posts' buttons say the same as well?????

only started today...possibly since the mini chat has been removed?

i wasnt that fussed about it to be honest but ye works ok now again.

yes id noticed the new post link didnt work, thought it was just a server thing.
