do L model forks fit an H2?!

Anyone know? My H2 forks need a rebuild and i've been offered some well set up L model ones for sensible money.

Got a feeling the L model forks are longer, which doesnt matter too much since you can lower them through the yokes.

ok, that's not too much of a problem. will my mudguard and front wheel fit though?!

L are shorter than the H1/H2 and are waisted differently on the bottom yoke.. so they wont go dude

ah ok, more difficult than it seems then. Well cheers lads, looks like i'll have to spend some money on the ones i've got instead
