Brands Hatch this weekend - Bemsee Centenary

This weekend at Brands will see Bemsee celebrate 100 years of Motorcycle racing, the club in that time has seen may riders come and go and has been the stepping stone on many a rider's career path to fame and fortune, Barry Sheene and Casey Stoner to name just 2. To celebrate the meeting this weekend will reflect the past era, a look at the different groups/classes listed below will give you a flavour of the meeting.

Classic Open 501-1300. Sat Sun
Bikes like 750/930 North Triples, Seeley Commandos, Vincents, 501cc and above from 1930 to 1974

Post-Classic Class. Sat Sun
Group 1…TZ 250/350’s, RG500’s, Group 2…P&M Kawasakis, Unlimited from 1975 to 1986

Classic 500 Class. Sat Sun
Group 1…Manx Seeleys, Patons, G50’s, Group 2…Goldstars, Triumphs, Up to 500cc, 1930 to 1974

Landsdowne. Sat Sun
Round 2 of the 2009 Lansdowne Classic Series.
The Lansdowne Classic Series is an invitation only event for pre-1962
Grand Prix Thoroughbreds (run as a combined 350cc and 500cc race)

Morgan Three-Wheelers & Old Timer Sidecars. Sat Sun
Sidecars, Three-wheelers and B3 cyclecars unlimited to 1974

RACE 1 Norfolkline Yamaha Past Masters 8 Laps
RACE 2 BMZRC MZ 250 8 Laps
Asacc MRO Morello Powerbikes 2nd Timed Qual (15 mins)

And another bounus point will be on Saturday night in the Kentagon for prize giving when the beer will be on sale at "Pre War" prices

sounded a good day out, how much is it to go there for a day and watch the racing and stuff and do you just pay when you get there or have to do it in advance?

I think it was £10 pre ordered in advance or £12 on the gate :smt001
