Hi, Whats the best spring compressor to use to remove the valves on a zxr ?

Try getting one that uses adaptors on both sides - looks like a big G clamp with screw tightners both sides.

I had looked at a the type that compresses in one movement but found the static head to big to sit on the valves properly

I quite like the look of this little kit

Can speak for the quaility but it look neat and easy to use with lots of different sized fittings

Second hand one.................good make...................... might be cheap option

Almost identical to the one i have and does the job well.

The Syke's is a good make and the static head looks like it could be small enough for the inlet valves - ask the seller to measure the diameter of it, I can soon tell you what the valves are in the ZXR head. Same type I was looking at but couldn't get the pad small enough for this use but was OK for the car.

I just got the kit of the ebay link, fits pretty good and came within 3 days, not bad for the price.
