I cannot imagine two more different road races

Skerries is nothing but badly organised chaos and I will never race there again. There is little or no proper crowd control and they have learned nothing over the years. People are still allowed to watch from a certain garden even after a spectator was badly injured there. So far as I'm concerned that club are not fit to run a road race.

Southern 100 is wonderful and everything is organised to the precise minute. The circuit is brilliant but also dangerous it demands absolute respect and concentration. The knee down shoulder inches away from the wall action is hugely rewarding.

So is that a maybe for Skerries then Cargo?

Have to admit that Southern is an excellent meeting, and runs superbly, especially as no PA and is all done on timings.

A great wee circuit and free coffee too, whats not to like?

Cheers
Stuart

Well a grand few days racing with rain only on practice for Skerries.
Definitely need more power for Southern as was losing out massively on the straights. Still had a great time, now looking forward to Classic TT on 888 Ducati.
Cheers Stuart
