Yes another race fairing question!

I have been trawling tinternet for race fairing for my H model 400 and at the minute I am only finding L model fairing.

I dont need seat unit, hugger or mudguard. Just the main fairing. Can I make the L model fairing fit or will it foul radiator, exhaust and other stuff. The bike has a micron race system on it which has been roasting the current fairing and the fairing needs a fair bit of work before painting. I was hoping to get some decent stuff instead.

I know my mate has fitted an L model race fairing to his H model ok, so it can be done.

I bought a fairing from AMS Motorsport with the ram air tube attached and it was very simple to fit to my H bike. Just had to made to small brackets so that it would fit to the fairing brace, which sits slightly higher than the L model.

I have ordered a fairing from ARD racing.

I'm fibreglassing the old one and paining it so it will be fine for the start of the season.

Its all too easy to go Tarmac Surfing at the start of the season!!
