MANX GP GEARING

Can anyone tell me the best gearing to run at the Manx?
ZXR400L with an SP Box-

There is no absolute answer to this one because of the many varyables.
Wind speed and direction
your bikes power and rev limit
your weight
your talent
your circuit knowledge
your balls
With a CDI that revs to nearly 16K my good bike will pull 16/42 but that is with favourable wind. Last year for the race I used 16/43
I'd like to think with a few more pounds lost off my fat ass 16/41 would be possible

I am always more than happy to help anyone taking on the MGP.............I'm not fast and I'm getting too old as well but nearly this year will be 14 years since my first Manx so I do know a bit about it
I cant be at Cookstown..............as ever work is in the way.............but I'll be at Tandragee for the full weekend.
