zxr400 dymags

set of dymags wanted for zxr400 or lighter wheels that are suited to zxr400. any advice on this would be appreciated. ta bobby

if only i'd just won the lottery!

That thread mention er6f wheels. how simple a swap is it? We talking straight swap, or new bearings/spacers/spindle etc?

I run late model ZX6R wheels, the 400 sprocket carrier fits straight in, convert the bearings & use ZX12R front discs & space the rear disc over to the right hand side, dick around with some spacers & you are done. Lighter & you can use a 180 on the rear.

1998 - 2002 for the three spoke wheel. Later model for the y spoke wheels. If you are reasonable handy & have access to a lathe/machinist it is pretty easy.

Has anyone weighed the difference between stock ZXR rear and 160 tyre against lighter ZXR6 rear and 180 tyre?

Same with the front, what are the figures here?
