I'm about to do mine. To get the head skimmed it's £30 - £40 and I've been told to do the porting/gas flow myself. Apparently a very easy job to f*ck the head with but the right Dremmel bit and patience to rougly polish the head should do it. Planning to try it on Friday/Monday so I'll take some before and after photo's and let you know how I get on.

Porting is pretty easy, however it takes a lot of patience and is very boring!! Just make sure that the inlet ports are as shiny as possible when you finish as the better the finish the better the performance. With regards to the outlets if you look at the Kawasaki race manual you can see which edges you can remove to improve flow.

I have been given a ZXR400 to race next season, however it is an H model so not sure what it will be like. Will try testing and see what like.
Why do you not buy half the Triumph from me and you can race it in the Supersport 600 class

Now thats an idea - how about you do the ss 600 and I will run the Proddy 600 - its only fair - I'm slower than you.
I have got a garage full of possibilities - an FZR1000 whicih I chucked down the road a few weeks back would make a good option in the 80's class - particularly as one side plastics is completely fecked but helpfully KDMC cant tell what the race order will be so no guarantee that i could run a 400 and the 80's class anyhow. If i buy half your 600 can I have the half that is undamaged in any crash
