Re: Ignition?
undo the tensioner (completely) and line them all up again, make sure you count to the 30th link as in the manual. Its worth doing it again just to see.

Re: Ignition?
Thx, for anwsering. Mayby I'm just dumb but do I only have to remove the tensioner? dont I have to remove cams agine? and what do you mean count to the 30th link? cant find anything like that in the manualparby81 wrote:undo the tensioner (completely) and line them all up again, make sure you count to the 30th link as in the manual. by the way the manual says not to turn the engine without tesioner so I would have to line the plate up remove tensioner and cams reinstall lining them up agine, reinstall the tensioner and turn the engine in hope of it still being in line agine..
an option I see is removing the plate and shifting only the plate, but dont know if its possible.

Re: Ignition?
change it mate, if all 3 marks (rotor plus cams) dont line up, its not right.
set the rotor to the right place, remove tensioner, remove cam-caps, re-align cams, reinstall cam-caps, reinstall tensioner.. check alignment.
repeat until correct ..
the 30 links is from cam mark to cam mark, try to keep all the slack where the tensioner would be (IE front run is tight)

Undid the ignition plate but unless I make a new track in it there is only one way to have it in

Re: Ignition?
ITS A MIRACAL!!
Went to do it once more.. tock the tensioner and ops the plate was wrong o well put the tensioner back in to turn the plate right.. and bingo turn the engine and when the tensioner was right everything just lined up lovely. I dont care why it worked all of a sudden just glad it did
