Everytime i put the choke on ready to start her up the choke slips off, the choke lever just wont stay up and keeps falling back, i have to hold the choke then start it and move the choke to the right place so its idling okay then i have to stand there holding the choke for a few minutes while she warms up. does anyone know what the problem is and how i can fix it?

It could be that the screws that hold on the choke pull have come loose. If you take the tank off and trace the choke cable that will bring you to the choke pull, thats a long bit of ally with bits that stick out to pull the choke plungers on each carb. Theres 3 screws holding this in place with a plastic washer on the front and back. Tighten the screws up and see if its any better.

Mine is exactly the same so I'll whip the tank off and check it out.

Hey I had this problem not so long back. I took apart the indicator thing and cleaned it out and when i put it back on the clutch lever was not staying. My mate had a look at it and then just tighten up the two screws on the back of the black box. Dont know if this will help but have a look at it.
