Hi i have had a l1 zxr400 for a year now but only been riding since i passed my test in feb its been running really good until recent.
I was riding the other day to work stopped at a set of lights went to pull back off and the bike borked out and stalled, it struggled to
restart eventually got it started again and tried to ride off now everytime i try to give it any throttle it dies, but ticks over on the idle
fine. Any ideas..

I have checked
Plugs and leads all sparking fine look a little charcoaled though.
Checked all wiring looks ok need to multimeter it still.
Tried new fuel in case of contaminents.
redex been added direct to carbs and through fuel filter.

What am i missing?

you drained the float bowls yet ? if there's some water got in there it has a habit of sitting in the emulsion tubes/needle jet holders and stopping it rev.

sussed it the previous owner blocked the breather off the bottom of the tank causing the water to build up and go into the tank lol.. thx
