Was it starting ok before you changed the block connecter ?
Did you perhaps disconect any other wires/connecters while doing it ?
What voltage does the battery have ?
Are all you earth leads properly connected ?
Side stand switch ok ?
Clutch switch OK ?
Kill switch in run position ?
In gear ?
Neutral switch lead connected ok ?

youre bike should run without the reg/rectifier connected atall, so disconect it and try starting it again, go from there,

everything worked before i changed the block i changed the block because it was burnt out and badly corroded with one wire not in the connection block which caused my battery to drain but everything else hasn`t been touched and i`ve just unplugged it and try to start it but still nothing

I don't know why anyone would think that disconecting the reg/ret would somehow make a difference to the starter circuit
Hard to be certain but from what you've said i'd be suspicious of your battery...................... it may well be healthy enough to power the lights etc but not healthy enough to turn turn starter.
ZXR 400 batteries do not like to go flat and it's not easy to recover a flat battery..................certainly you cant recover a flat battery with a regular charger you need an Opitimate or similiar.....................even then there is no certainity of recovery
What voltage is your battary showing ?
Have you rechecked every single thing that you moved touched unpluged during the process of repairing your block connector logic would dictate that if it was fine before you changed the connector then it could be something you have done causing the problem now.

yeah i check all off the things you put in the list apart from battery voltage has i don`t own a tester but a mate has one so i`ll borrow it of him what should the battery be reading in voltage terms

battery should be atleast 12.5v without ignition/lights on etc not running and should be about 14v with the engine running.if nothing at all happens when you press the starter button check the starter relay as this could of burnt out as well and it has a fuse on it as well make sure that is ok.

Normally with a flat or near flat battery there would be a click from the starter relay when you try to start the bike if the fuse on the starter relay is blown then clearly the starter relay and motor will not operate......................however the fuse on the starter relay is the main fuse and if it is blown then NOTHING will operate.
The orginal post said that the lights etc were working therefore I'd be extremely surprised to find the fuse on the relay blown.
It would be interesting to know if the bike can be started on a bump ? That would confirm that the fault lies within the starter circuit and not the ignition curcuit...............I think
