Hi there, i have starting problems with my zxr, my mechanic asked me to find him how to make the cam chain timing, is there something special? because he is sure all other things are done ok, but hes not sure about how he put the chain, if somebody have some manual for changing the chain ... pls help

hello all sorts of things can cause starting problems.....is it worse from hot or cold??
to be honest a compitent mechanic should no know to time the chain up its pretty easy.
this thread is for valve clearances as this can be a common not starting problem......i have had this problem too......but it also has some good pictures of the timing marks as well.
