Need a new gearbox?

Hi,
I smashed my beast a few months ago and have been doing bits and bats to get her back on the road. After a lot of work I crossed my fingers and hit the ignition, eventually she fired up. I was so pleased, 5 minutes later I looked down and saw oil everywhere. It's coming from the cracked gearbox casing on the left hand side. Does this mean I need a new gearbox or just a gearbox casing?
