mineral oil as a temorary fix/ flush

Ok, so on my zxr I made the mistake of putting in Castrol power 1 fully synthetic, pretty much straight afterwards the clutch started to slip, ive just changed my main jets so the bike has a bit more punch so is killing my poor clutch, my question is that yamalube 10w40 mineral oil is very cheap, so I was looking at putting that in after ive deglazed the clutch and bathed it in brake cleaner, will the mineral oil be ok for a couple of months until I get the bike through its M.O.T and can get the money for a new clutch from cradleys? Thanks
