I TOOK MY BIKE TO KAWASAKI AND THEY TOLD ME MY COMPRESSON WAS AROUND 100 PSI ON EACH CYLINDER BUT MY BIKE IS RESTRICTED TO 33BHP IS THERE ANY ONE ELES OUT THERE WITH A RESTRICTED ONE THAT KNOWSS WAT THEIR COMPRESSION IS .I WOULD MAKE A DIFFRENCE I THINK

did they say 100psi was wrong? whats your basis for worrying about it?

WE;; I TOOK IT THERE FOR A INTERIM SERVICE IT WAS CUTTING OUT ASWELL ON IDLE AND THEY TESTED COMPRESSION THEY SED IT SHUD BE BEETWEEN 190 150I WONDERD IF IT BECAUSE IT IS RESTRICTED

I MEAN IT IS RESTRICTEDWOULD THAT LOWER COMPRESSION

being restricted wouldnt lower the compression, if its too low then maybe youre head gasket is on its way out or the rings are worn?

i suppose its like anything else, all depends on how it been ridden, if its been well thrashed through its life and how well its been looked after, did they not do a test on the head gasket? as i know this is supposed to be common

HOW DO U TEST HEAD GASKET

just looked in the manual mate and from what i can make out it should be between 99-156,

so u should be ok? and they should have a head gasket testing kit, i would have thought, takes 2 mins if its like a car one

SO BASICALLY 100 IS OK YH THEY SAID TO ME IT COULD BE THE BORES THE RINGS THE GASKET THEY SAY THAT TO SCARE U INIT COULD JUST BE HEAD GASKET

well to me if its between what the manual says then i dont think u have a problem there atall, my bike has been doin exactly the sam as youres, just stripped the carbs and found the floats are at different heights!! rubber o rings round the float needle hosing are knackered and the carbs were full of crap so i think thats my problem, and youres may well be the same mate,

I WENT IN EARLIER TO SHOP AND THEY TOLD ME ITS NOT STALLING NOW WELL ILL FIND OUT WEN I GET IT .
