mornin all!

tis the time of year again to renew the bike insurance, all well and dandy got it for
3255 quid ! absolute snatch!, untill they send the proposal form wanting to see my liscence, cbt cert, restrictor certificate or dyno print out,

no big problem as iv never been asked for the restrictor cert before so i never restricted it ( restriction comes off my licence in july)

but now there askin for it....... bugger skint student! cant affrd to buy a kit so ill make one.


so can anybody tell me the size of the hole in the middle of the restrictor washers that go between the carbs and the inlet manifold???

Dunno the size of the holes im afraid. I think its around 15mm. Im sure someone here knows.

15 mm looks about right from the picture of the restrictors!

correct me if im wrong, ( im sure i am) but do they dyno the bike? do they just want visual proof of the restrictor? can u adjust the throttle cables to make it seem its restricted?

canceld that insurance policy andwent back with bennets ( they dont ask for such silly forms) cost a little more but hey i got more out of it!!
