I got to take off me downpipes soon and take off the surface rust/repaint. Do I need new gasket set, or can i get away with the old one

i dident bother with any,another great weight saving idea.

If you want to go cheap, heat the old ones gently with a gas torch or over your stove and re-use.

When you use new ones dont go heavy handed tightening up the exhaust flange nuts and you can use them several times - thats what I do as I change exhausts on both bikes regular

ok ill see if they are flat it looks like they are rings that compress

been reuseing em for years never bought new ones yet
