97% of the exhaust power depends on the headers , collector and link pipe.
Short cans will rev out quicker so desirable on high power high tuned race bikes like MotoGP
Longer cans produce more torque and again you will find these on race bikes in AMA , BSB and WSBK
Down to personal choice on our bikes as the difference is marginal - I have tried
My FIII system has a long can and is fantastic and would never consider bulldoging as I am upsetting someones research !
My BEET to me seems better with the short MotoGP with DB killer than a full length can with no DB killer - I also like the look better
So don't worry about the can - worry about the system !
MM!

I've got used to not running an end can... As much as it draws too much attention to me, it sounds fucking nuts! Though I am looking at a Racefit or Scorpion GP1 type can, just to numb the sound a touch!

Get a Racefit Growler. Although you'll probably have to get spring hooks welded to the downpipes as clamping titanium to stainless steel isn't the best way to do it, so they guys at Racefit tell me anyway:

certainly is. When it's built back up I'll put some better ones up. Unfortunatly I'm running out of cash so don't expect them soon
