yeh, s'what i was thinking, only thing in favour of the AMS one (top) is the undertray with integrated lights .. aesthetically the angles are all wrong .. and it costs more ..
really, i want an SP seat.. but if i cant find one, i'll go for something different

defo the RMKD seat unit. This pic is the first time i saw that seat unit, was sent to me by the owner of that purple fruit ZXR in ur 3rd post with. You can always cut the undertray as shown where the mesh is and then place light behind the mesh. The SV light always remind me of thai love beads...........

i like that .. i remember seeing that pic a few years ago but didnt realise it was Roger's kit.

dont have to put the mesh there if you dont want. I met a guy on a bike safe course i did years ago, he had a fireblade and mounted the indicators in the seat unit gaps/vents and they were also covered with mesh, and his passed.

lol, yeh .. its just a shame im so utterly crap with fibreglass really.. bit scared of practising on a brand new fairing..
my whinging aside .. vertical stack like a 999 ? side by side like an H model ? or one offset, like an oldskool endurance racer ?

well i cant tell you what you want, but vertial stack like the 999 is nice i think. If anything it might look pretty cool having one either side.
Like this but have one on each side maybe?

yeh, vertical looks ok actually ..
been spraying black circles on me spare race fairing to see what locations work .. not 100% there'd be room for the upper light though, the projector units are quite deep.
side by side looks a bit like a squinty H model, and the fairing shape doesnt lend itself too well to being offset much ..
thanks for the input though Rob, genuinely appreciated
normally i pay so little attention to cosmetics that deciding on a look for this is doing my nut!

your not the only one, ive changed my mind so many times as to what colour im going to paint mine, im still undecided even tho ive bought the paint for the colour i originally wanted. Cost plays a big part, but its indescribable the difficulty in getting the cosmetics right cos you normally only have one chance at it and thats it.
no probs on the effort mate, always pleased to help

lol, yeh, i've been known to agonise for months, do the prep, go to buy the paint, and change my mind whilst at the counter..
thing is, anything looks great when its just been done (specially if you did it yourself) its only a few days/weeks later that you can really tell if you like it.
