Dead As A Dead Thing

Got the bike back together and was just gonna test the electrics. all works apart from the starter motor. press the button and sod all. not even a click. i checked fuses etc. any ideas.

netural light wire in place ?

live feed to starter motor connected ?

aye. new clutch switch. in neutral. sidestand down but not in gear. think ill try another battery tomorro

mighjt soudn daft.. the earth wire is back on ???


also mien did this when one fo the cables near the cdi was loose

lol it wasnt but i put it back and no change. im at a loss.

cant see that . it was fine altho before the strip down when i pressed the starter button there was a 1-2 second delay before it turned over.

sorted. seemed when i tightened up the clutch lever it kept dislodging the clutch switch.
