Ok, so bin having some trouble with starting and electrics. i took it down to the mech, he tested n said that the stator and battery are fine. but because the engine cuts out when any of the lights are on he said theres gotta be a short somewhere. Any ideas? Bad contacts, earth? This is really bugging me, as for the bad starting, better plugs, tho these are new, or higher octance fuel, im runnig 95 but some people seems to use 99. Is this any better.

think iv sorted it, it was the headlight bulb, seems to be making dodgey contacts, maybe coz i cut it fit the housing ?? or earthing or something, but iv narrowed it down. also should they be 60/55 w ? both mine are now.
