We have 12v going to both coils, and about 9v coming out when cranking, (have fitted new coils).
Have put a 2nd cdi unit on
Brand new battery
Only other electrical issues it there is no horn or indicators

Check all the earths for corrosion etc
Banner actually did a rather excellent wiring diagram that you can find in The electrical section.
Iād just follow the path of power to the plugs and see where it stops.
Failing that could be something telling the cdi not to supply power. Cut out switch etc

I have checked and cleaned all the wires and earths.
I have even attached jump leads to the engine to the earth of the battery to eliminate a earth issue.
I have checked the cut out switch which is working plus the neutral and side stand switches are working
I have been checking the wiring to the CDI unit, seems to be getting a signal from the crank sensor, the other lives and earths look seem to be correct.
Could it possibly be the CDI and fuse box being incompatible as I don't know where they came from.

So have found the issue, the fuse box on the bike was a 4 fuse fusebox which is only for pre 1994, my bike being a 1999 needed the bigger fuse box. I changed the fuse box and the bike fire straight away
