I was wondering if anyone can help with this prob.

My regulator has burnt out again, it is the second time in 2 years. The connector gets very hot and turns charcoal black so I have to replace it.

My battery is new, the alternator seems to work fine.

Any help will be greately appreciated!!!

My regulator did the same. I drive a H. Put in a L's regulator and have never looked back. Everything's fine.

It turned out to be a short in the wiring of the headlights. ie. it wasn't the regulator after all.
