I saw a TL1000R yesterday with Gilles Rearsets on it and it looked as if they would fit the 400.
I took the measurements center to center but the 400 is 5cm and the TL is 4,5cm.

This had me thinking there has to be another bike with 5cm gap.

Any ideas?

Reason:- The retardation was winding me up.

I bought some rear sets from GB moto for the zxr 400 just needed to fit a hydraulic brake light pressure switch they were £186 the quality is good for the price.
I think the kr1 had the same hole pattern as the zxr?

I believe the early r6's might fit. Friend of mine had some gilles fitted to his zxr and previous owner said they were off an r6.

I'm only looking for Gilles gold rearsets. My ZXR750R have them on and I'm trying to make them look identical.

Somehow I need to be sure. They are a bit expensive and I can't turn them back once I buy them.

My advice would be to measure them up.

They didn't fit.

The center to center is 50mm and the closest I've found is in a Honda CBR1000RR which have 56mm.

This was difficult to find.....

I thought people had done this before.

Oh I really do apologise you are so right. It is that the dimensions of the footrest mountings for the ZXR400 have been omitted from the forum.
It's utterly disgusting and I humbly and sincerely apologise.


Then again................It could be argued that your one of many on this forum who expects everything to be done for them and have everything handed to them on a plate.

I just figured that the ZXR400 is ancient now and someone maybe did it before.
