Checked everywhere and I can't find any info on polishing a frame? Anyone done it? And more importantly, how?

400 grit sandpaper, then 800, then 1200, then 2000, then polish with a rag roller and red jewellers rouge.

I wouldn't have a polished frame about the place..................too much like hard work keeping it polished.
All that grit and elbow grease............don't make em any faster

Ta for that. I know it'll take more like 45 seconds but I just like that look.
