i thought there were only 2 sizes 22mm (7/8) or 25mm (1") ?

IIRC, it depends on which bar. I seem to remember that you need a 22mm for the LHS and a 25mm for the RHS

yeah but if you buy a set of 22mm one is bigger internal dia for the throttle tube.

yes 7/8" is the size for you.
