I want to change the fork seals on my ZXR400 but how in the name of buggery bullocks do you do it if you haven't got the spring compressor or spring stopper?

Any help gratefully received as the forks are about to get thrown through the garage window.

did mine without special tools, pig of a job tho' and if you can get someone to help you even better.i've got a spare fork seal if you want it, can't remember if its off the 400 or 750 tho'?

check out the manuals to see how it should be done. May have clues as to how the job can be ccompleted without special tools.
