Got a 22 bit to get the bolt off tonight, came off no worries - YAY!
But now the massive bolt that holds the swingarm to the frame cant be shifted - ive tried a rubber mallet, and also unscrewing it with the ratchet - but no joy
Should it just knock out ??? Or am i missing something ??? nowt mentioned in manual about it - so is it likley just seized ??? have left some 3in1 soaking into it overnight

What is a "22 bit" ?
And why are you discussing the swinging arm in a thread tittled "removing subframe ?
Confused on the IOM

I assume he means 22mm?
Pretty much do it as zxr500man says. Had someone here before with a similar problem, turned out the grease had gone solid and was gathering up on the spindle as it was withdrawn and stopping it coming out.

When i wanted to remove my swingarm it wouldnt budge, i put wd40 in it, so much that it came out the other side. Smashed it the next day, nothing. Put wd40 through grease nipple aswell. Finally said stuff it and left it, swingarm moves freely now

truly stuck with this !
took grease nipple out and wd40'd as much as i could
whacked it with a massive hammer (and block of wood)
nothing, wont budge.
It is a H1 model - is there anything I am missing or is it just seized !
It rotates fine, only reason for wanting to take it apart is so I can spray it all up

I sprayed mine with it in... I stopped trying to get it out and left it as is, because you might just damage something. Ive also got a H1

Given that it is turning easilly then then it is siezed onto the inner race of one or more of the bearings...................hitting it will almost certainyl damage the bearing or bearings..............however one suspects that you have little choice if you want to remove it.
Note I've changed the subject header for this thread as clearly it has nothing to do with the subframe
