IIRC any 158 size will fit the L series calipers.

I have spent £37 on EBC HH ones before, but nowdays I just get whatever £10 set is cheapest off ebay.

Pads a pad.

deepends on how you ride and how you use the bike, HH will wear quicker and kill the disks quicker, but will give much better stoping performace

I genraly use HH on the 750 as i only take it out when thrashing it now adays. I got about 2-3,000 miles out of the pads that are in now. There very low now tho pritty much on the metal backing!

as for the crossers i use whatever as the brakes dont work anyway lol

off road bikes have shite brakes for a reason, when you stick the front brakes on it genraly locks quite quickly.

And as everyone knows if you lock the front theres a good chance your going down!

way i normaly stop is jam both brakes on so the bike goes side ways skidding though the mud, stops you rather quickly!

but if the you get stuck in a rut you very quickly become superman!

I do have to say though, that I was messing around the other day lifting my back wheel under heavy braking, and my front wheel locked, but I didn't lose it, though I did nearly poop myself hehe :smt010
