braided hoses

hi there this may be a dumb question, but if you buy the race setup (only 2 front braided lines) how does it wire up if the bike (atm) has 3 1 from the lever to the master cylinder i believe? then 2 leading off that to the calipers can some one just help me how you set it up, thanks.

You remove the splitter.

From the Cylinder 1 hose to LHS Caliper, 1 to RHS Cailper..

Easy, just make sure you get a double Banjo Bolt for the Master Cylinder.

and apart from weight saving are there any advantages to running this setup?

yeppers,

Your brakes will be more responsive as you do not have the rubber hose bulging from the cylinder to the splitter.

As i have said in other threads, i done this last week and its a BEAST :D

yes, but if you got a small braided one for that bit as well then it won't bulge

possibly not, but most people dont even replace the rubber hoses every two years as your supposed to or change the fluid regularly enough. So if they were to do that as recommended then yes it could justify the extra couple of pounds.
