Anyone who has used or is using this tyre justed wanted to check a few things. Just wanted to know what sort of milage you get from these tyres. Currently got some BT014's on at the moment but need a new rear so will just get a new pair. Currently thinkin of getting what I have at the moment or a pair of diablo's. Also what the best type? I went to http://www.seastarsuperbikes.co.uk which full tilt on another topic about these recomended and it came up with four types of diablo's:

Pirelli Diablo Corsa (Road)
Pirelli Diablo (Road)
Pirelli Diablo H Rated (Road)
Pirelli Diablo Strada (Road)

Just wondering which would be the best for me, I ride to work if its good wether as no to keen on the wet and generally go out most weekends if its not raining.

Was looking at these one, just wanted to double check this is the size i'm needing:

Model: Diablo
Product Code: S1430200/ S1430400
Description: Pair Deal
Sizes: 120/60/17 Front & 160/60/17 Rear

go for the Diablo Corsa there the softest and wear the quickest but if your using it for quick rides into work and fun weekends then its perfect

will only last 2.5 to 3,000 miles tho

personally i'd go with the H rated as these are the correct speed rating for a 400, and have more flexible carcasses giving more feel/feedback and shorter warm up times.. ZR rated (the others) tyres tend to make the bike feels clumsy.

having said that, if it was my money it would be spent on bridgestone BT090's, or an 090 front with a BT092 rear if i was planning on lots of commuting or just touring about as it wont square off as quick.

any of the above will feel WAY better than 014's, which in turn are light years better than 020/021's.

had the 090's on my 400 and got to say they were like sex to ride on, never once did they feel they were running out of grip (untill i hit sand and lost grip, and put it into dirt at 70 :smt004 )

cheers, where is the best place to buy BT090's. Online or a local garage.
