fitting l engine into h bike

hi iam just about to fit a second hand l engine in my h bike, is there any thing i need to know about before i fit it or is it a staight swap, also the wires that come from the pickup sensor on the l model engine have a blue plug on them and the h model has a green plug on it, can i plug this straight in or do i need to swap the pickup sensor over cheers for any help

got a feeling you need to swap the pickups over too, but i'm sure someone will clarify.

The engine should fit with no real problems
Also there should be no reason to change the ignition pickup unless of course it's faulty in some way

Ha ha ha, I have fitted more engines into my bike than I care to think mate and I can tell you there is no difference between the engines at all, it will fit straight into your bike. I'm sure the other guys especially RedexRob, its not the fact that I've blown all them up, its the sh** that I have bought!! I'm afraid every engine I have got, the seller says its a good engine but I have had to keep putting them in and taking them out again to repair it!!!! Anyway, you should have no worries about fitting an L into a H although I have ben putting H's into L's. Just thought I'd sound off some more.....LOL
