funny noise

i have a 2002 (99 model) zxr 400 , it hasnt been started in about 3 months , got it fired up today and there is a strange rattle from the engine on anything above idle? any ideas ? new engine time?

had it run for 10 mins or so and its still there , any suggestion? if it is oil starvation in the head what next?

may just need a good run mate, or fresh oil and filter might sort it.
