Quite a few threads over the years and, recently, asking how to change the oil, used my camera today and found there were some photos i took ages ago to highlight where these things are for a filter change and oil change for the workshop when i get round to writing it up!

Anyways, seems most people have a hard time finding the sump plug so here it is in all its glory! Note if it isnt obvious already, this is taken from the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the bike.

theres a sump plug either end then? or am i way off?

was going to ask what exhaust that was .. i didnt think the beet system had balance pipes between the headers ..

way off. The sump plug ringed in both photos is the same item, just from opposite sides of the bike (as stated under the photos)

it may not always look exactly like that either; where that is flat headed bolt the sump plug on mine (h model) has a hex with a conical head...

It is a Titanium system, made by Beet as far as im aware. Theres no markings or anything but it came with the bike advertised as a stainless steel system but no way is it stainless. No idea if they are balancing pipes between them, i think they may just be bracing

Only issue ive had with clearance is just where the pipe exits from the fairing under the foot rest, its melted it slightly. But i believe thats due to the down pipes being slightly longer than standard, but the exhaust bracket ive made up pulls it up a bit higher so i think its ok now.

Indeed. If I didn't ride my bike it might be that clean too.

i had exactly the same problem with my micron system

damn aftermarket systems!

It is a shame but you would hardly notice its when it on, i didnt notice it till i took the plastics off.

didnt have that problem with my micron, did you leave the heat proffing on the panel?

mine didnt have any on it. But will be when i get round to it.

yeah the heat proofing is further down the panel, this is where the system leaves the panel

my micron fitted perfect .. no rubbing on/melting panels at all ..

my micron didnt hit the plastics however a heat resistant pad was put inside belly pan so the pipes must have been close

I think they come with a reflective shield as standard.
