hi steven welcome to the forum!

Sounds like a flat spot, but for it to suddenly appear is a bit odd :smt017

Have you changed anything like the exhaust recently, or added a new air filter?

If its been sat for that long then its might be gummed up carbs. The fuel crystalises and turns into a goo and blocks things up a bit.

My advice would be to run some Redex through a few times as thats great stuff for cleaning up carbs as well as the rest of the engine. Give that a go :smt001

as robB says more than likely a fuel problem mate, could be worth dropping the float bowls off and cleaning them out.

will let every body know the outcome..
if you see in wanted section carbs the redex didnt work and ive f**ked the carbs up trying to clean them(with a hammer ofcourse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ha ha)
only jokin thanks for help...
als can a smaller fuel filter restrict the flow?? as the one on mine is alot bigger than a new one that ive bought??

Glad to hear it mate, has that flat spot cleared?

Just run that through, and see how it is after you put in petrol without the redex.
