ZXR400L2: Its making a clunking noise (kinda sounds like a horse walking). It repeats once every revolution of the front sproket and sounds like its coming from in the gearbox. Does it without the engine running in gear or neutral. Also when I changed from 3rd to 4th it just started to spin like it was in neautral. Is all this linked?

have you checked your front sprocket? mine did this when it was worn, but not in neutral.

I hope it is this. It is worn and my new chain and sproket set shhould arrive shortly. I'll post again after fitting them.
