i have just recently fitted a new s/s exhaust to the bike and noticed 1 stud was different and had been re drilled thought nothin of it but the bolt is now missin and thats where the oil is leakin from guess he drilled a bit to deep and ive tightened it up a bit to much and finished it off !
can this be fixed or does it mean new head?

Oh dear if i was you for a temp fix put loads of thread sealant on the stud, and certainly get it sorted.

it felt like a nice thred i might do as you say and see but the old one looked like it was in for some time so al try some lock tight and see if not its off to the head shop
