hi guys i have recently bought a zxr 444 and have blown the head gasket was just wondering does it need a special gasket or will a standard one fit?

thanks for the link its about £75 for the gasket as it needs opening out and needed rings aswell they where about £25 each

thats cheap, rings for my fzr 1000 are £45 a set!

TTS are indeed your people for oversized gaskets. Remember 444cc bikes not allowed in most club F400. 0.5-1.0mm over usually being the max, before you spend too much money on it.

so your saying that for all 444cc piston rings the cost is £400!

thats is a lot, the fzr is £165 for the full engine...ill stop bitching :D
