Exhuast valves

Does anyone know if the exhaust valves varied across zxr400'd (perhaps from the H1 to the L9). Ive just been stripping a an engine that came out of an L4. Its clearly be tinkered with at some point (porting that was clearly done by a blind man). On removing the exhaust valves, the heads of them are thicker and they are slightly heavier overall. All are the same so I'm wondering of they are aftermarket parts or perhaps off a earlier model or something.

Logic is telling me they wouldnt be as good on race engine as they have more mass to move. Any thoughts?

Cheers

You can answer this question for yourself by looking at the part numbers on the fiches

Mmmm so according to the microfiches they should all be the same. Just had another look at them, and they are dished as all the other, look like they are 2 part rather than single but deffo noticeably thicker and heavier. I'm guessing they are just a batch variation from an early model. Pity I haven't unearthed some ultra rare Japanese kit unless anyone knows better.
