Me, a mate and this site have come to the conclusion that the HG is seeping into the cooling system causing it to pressurise.
I have a replacement HG here and know i might have to skim the head but what tools, and other spare parts will i need?
Is it worth doing the clearances and replacing the cam chain while the block is in bits?
Cheers

no real special tools are needed just your everyday ones really. ye while you have it apart i would be replacing it all as your there.ye you should be doing valve clearances.
im doing head gasket and top end rebuild on my bike at the mo.im replacing a couple of rockers and valve stem oil seals and its costing me nearly £400 including service parts from cradleys.
