Hey everyone,

I stripped down my bike yesterday, whole of the front end off. I took my exhaust downpipes off as they needed to be sent away for inspection. I wanted to see what the bike would sounds like without no exhaust pipes, so I started it up.

The sounds that it made as it was ticking over was like if it was under water - it was like a burbling popping sound! Thought it was going to be real throaty

Is that meant to happen or should I have not done it at all????

No it's not meant to happen...................what should happen is that you run your bike WITH an exhaust on it
