H2 Radiator suggestions

Hello all,

Im in the process of rebuilding my H2 and need the forums help regarding a radiator change.

Currently the radiator is perfectly effective, however its is showing its age and has a lot of bent and clogged fins. Ideally I would like a new one to replace it but I cannot find one. All the second hand ones I've seen are pretty shoddy too. I considered using an L but it is my understanding that they mount differently.

So I guess what im asking is, what are my options? does anyone have any experience in modding another radiator. Id like to keep it original if possible but im open to suggestions.

Thanks guys, I appreciate any advice.

Aaron radiators do re-cores, thats the only way to keep it as original as possible whilst repairing it at the same time...not cheap though for a curved rad, about £250...

the work involved in modding a different radiator would cost you more than just getting a re-core, and it would look a lot less "original"

Im thinking a re-core is my best option. Thanks for the reply.

It will have to wait as the cost is too prohibitive at the moment AND there are more pressing matters to deal with first.

Its a labour of love isn't it?
