Hesitant when rolling off then on at speed?

Hi Guys,

I recently noticed that when gunning for this one corner, at around 100mph (Donnington Park) - I roll off the throttle slightly.
Upon rolling the throttle back on (1-2 seconds, in same gear and at same speed) the bike is hesitant to rev for half a second, and is then fine?

To make matters even more confusing, I ran out of 'ON' fuel yesterday, so had to switch to 'RESERVE'.
When I came to the same corner, at the same speed, I rolled off, then back on and there was no delay / hesitation at all?

Any ideas as to what it might be?

Don't want to run around on RES all the time, incase I actually run out of fuel! lol

Cheers

sounds like it was just short of fuel considering you had to switch to reserve.

A bit careless running out of fuel on a track :smt017 If that is indeed where you were :smt018

If it runs perfect on reserve and crap at 'on' then it can only be fuel tap or filter.
