Any idea what this actually does? its the spring that connects the throttle cable plate and the other side of the choke.

I lost mine the last time i put my bike back together my bike has developed an issue where it sounds like its running on 2 cylinders(or a fuel issue) past 4k since i lost the spring, could this spring be the issue?!

if im reading your post correctly the spring in question makes sure the choke closes..

if the choke is coming on of its own volition with the engine warmed up, its not going to run very well.. but that doesnt mean its necessarily the cause of your poor running.

I thought that was it's job but i checked when i had the tank off that the choke still closed and it does regardless of the spring!
