my zx400 91 model is hard to start

so i took sprayed carb cleaner into the carbs it runs fine but when that runs out it splutters then stalls

the bike has been sitting for 5 months i put fresh fuel in the tank
replaced spark plugs

it seems like a fuel problem i removed fuel line to carbs cranked it over fuel pumped though.i replaced the fuel filter



any ideas

Bike sat for 5 months. Sounds like stale fuel.

Drain your tank, carbs and lines.
Replace your filter and put a lick of fresh fuel in her. Should fire up!

Might be worth stripping the carbs all together n cleaning them. Stale fuel can block the jets.
