Well, went out for a "leisurely" ride out with a mate who wanted to give his new bike a shake down, finished the day off in A&E, and the bike very broken.
Come round a left hand bend, and was faced with a Volvo turning right, O f***!! Hit brakes, which put me into a massive rolling stoppie and staright into the side of the Volvo!! The end result was me flying over the roof, landing on the deck, sliding into a wooden post and comin to rest on some grass. The bike carried on along the side of the car, taking out both o/s doors and mirror and coming to rest on it's side, looking very broken.
I actually come away from it quite well, very sore and battered, but nowt broke, me kit stud up to it real well.
As soon as i get the bike back and take some pics, will get them on here.

That's a bugger mate - hope the bike isn't tooooo bad.

Are you fully comp? I would have thought the claim could go in your favour unless they can claim you were doing excessive speed... After all - he still turned across your path when it was obviously unsafe to do so!

Glad you're ok-ish, and hope you get the bike sorted soon!

He was traveling in my direction abd turning right off the road, so my fault!! Ye i'm fully comp, looks like it's dinked the frame slightly
Ah well, on the upside, i was saving for a winter project anyway, just looks like it's gona be a B1H instead of a 400!!

Unlucky, glad to hear you come out ok! Going by the state of the bike its a good thing you went over the roof!

Ye, basically i failed to stop, kinda hard with only the front wheel on the deck!!Just panicked and grabed a handfull of front brake :wanker .
I thought the guy had seen me, couldn't get the bike back across the road (very slight kink)so wen i let off the brakes was in the middle of the road. Thought i'd have a stab at going round the front of him, again hoping he'd seen/heard me but by that time he'd time he'd come across, then the next thing i new i was on the grass, thinking W.T.F!! I only knew i'd gone over roof when me mate who was following me said "i came round the corner expecting you to be going through the next, instead you where fling over the roof of a car"!! The sights you see when you haven't got a camera!!
Found near enough all the bits i need to fix it, just gota find a way of paying for them now :smt013
