Awakening from hibernation

I seem to remember a thread bout prepping the bike before storage for the winter.

Do I also recall correctly a thread about what actions to take when bringing it out of storage?

Context is that my ZXR has been sitting in the garage, has not moved as much as an inch since late October, until today, when I cleared the garage and started stripping it down to clean it properly.

What would be a good idea to do before I get her on the road, servicing wise?

Plans include new chain, new sprocket set (14-47 :smt003) - checked the brake fluid, that's good, golden and wonderfully clear, checked the oil, doesn't look too bad, but I think I'm gonna change it anyway, oil filter was new last May, so should be OK...
Also might need to put a new rear tyre on for it to pass the MOT.

Anything else to check and service that I've overlooked?

Check the tyres and pressures.

Tyres are fine, pressures too - failed to mention that I checked those, hence my registering that I may well need a new rear.

At what point did BT 090 rears fluctuate up above the £100 mark? shocking

Nyet. I said I remembered a thread about prepping the bike for storage, I never said I bothered to do anything.

I simply got off it and didn't get back on on the 29th September. It takes years for fuel to go over though, so I must presume there is an ulterior motivation to do so?
